Month of ... October celebrates Dia de los Muertos!

Dia de los Muertos is a hoilday celebrated in Mexico and other Latin Americans. The holiday celebrates and honors relatives and friends that have passed away. Dia de los Muertos is a two-day celebration that occurs on November 1st and 2nd, coinciding with All Saint’s and All Soul’s Day. Part of the holiday tradition is the belief tha the loved ones return home, so an alter is constructed with the loved ones favorite foods and beverages. Along with food and beverages, other items on the alter include sugar skulls, marigolds, photographs and candles.
