Beverly Hills Public Library closed on Columbus Day
Beverly Hills Public Library will be closed on Monday, October 8th, in observance of Columbus Day. Online services will be available 24/7 at http://www.bhpl.org
Friends of the Library Book Discussion Group
 
Judith Palarz and Friends will discuss State of Wonder by Ann Patchett.
This program is free to Friends members or a suggested donation of $5.00 for non-members.
All donations support the Friends of the Beverly Hills Public Library.

Fall Storytimes for Children
 Fall Storytimes started on September 10, 2012. Please check the website or contact the Children’s Reference Desk at 310-288-2211 for more information. 
 
Volunteer opportunity
  
The Children’s Department has a volunteer opportunity for those in grades 9-12. 

We are looking for high school students for our Homework Helper program. Homework Helpers help younger students understand and complete homework assignments and projects. Volunteers will be scheduled for two hour shifts, once a week. The application is available at the Library.
